When i Die

The sun will set, in a dim calm rain like tear drop perforating the emotions of who I am and not who i was.

I'm here, still
the laughter we shared vanished
from memories like vapor
in a cloud stages before
perspiration.

Don't cry, today
you'll experience my
personality and history from
friends and love ones,

Remember the time?
look past the tears and reflect
on those times we cried laughing.

Today you'll
know me better from the stories 

you'll hear, just never regret not 

asking me if i was okay.

I fooled you with my smiles 

And the strong facade, because

Seeing you happy was better than

Having you worry about me.

But I promise today I am Okay
It's nice seeing you all here for me

But, I wish you've seen the signs 

Now that I know how much you care

I would take back all the pretended laughs 

for a chance for just one more hug.

When I die i will be fine.
