Dear Women

I'm writing you this letter to show you how significant you are in our lives, many of you live with a piece of your heart hanging off your chest searching for the man worthy of your embodiment.

Caring for others unconditionally yet unsure of your place in a relationship or friendship, stepped on by the unworthy with words as sharp as the kitchen knife and discarded like objects with scars as deep as a love poem.

But you see, you are a poem, a poem written scripture like. God made you as our equal yet your mind shines in colors we cant yet see, your body shaped in a form that leaves us breathless with a soul that screams louder than we can comprehend, your emotions raises rainbows like the quiet after a rain fall, keeping us grounded with a passion so transparent that illuminates even the darkest of paths.

You are a poem,  don't let anyone tell you differently, your laughter is comfort, your touch is empowering, your love nurturing, and your presence makes us whole. but it's not until you recognize who you are will you see everything we see in you. Learn to understand effort, but never settle for less than what you deserve.

So today I stand before you asking that you look at us (Men) not just as the very pain you run from,  but the future you can't wait to embark on. Granted, there are many that have tainted your prospective with a bitter after taste of what a man should be like from years of tear covered pillows and numerous of hated ice cream flavors. i want you to know chivalry awaits if you allow him the opportunity to open your door.
