Black Walls

We feel a world of emotions but we still can't seem to know how to express them all. Black goes deeper than the track mark on our backs, our footprint is just as loud as our personalities.
Young men's lives have been demeaned in front of the whole world to see, race aside where is your humanity? life should be equality valued but history seems to be impregnating black lives with fear of who we are.

We need to be the example in the eyes of our off springs, it's hard enough being black outside of these walls, lets make the foundation of our castle the reason why they grow up to be kings and Queens. Build them up with values, respect, integrity and dignity, so when they step out in the world they can differentiate ignorance, bigotry and racism.

We matter, so lets preach that to us, when we respect ourselves it makes it hard for another to step on our morals, you can't teach values to others when your house is built with indiscretions.
Let's raise kings and queens, but it take a monarchy to do so. after all Africa was once a monarchy stripped from its crown without cause. Let's rebuild that crown one child at a time with the wisdom to outstand the face of bigotry.
